MexMuffler started as a small family business in Janesville, WI and over the next 20 years, the business grew to add two more shops in the Madison, WI area. We specialize in custom exhausts, brakes, and suspensions, and perform oil changes. We try our best to make each service unique to each customer and pride ourselves on establishing personal relationships with all our customers. This, along with quality and quick service at affordable prices has kept our customers returning for many years. We provide FREE inspections and same-day service with no appointment needed.

"My friend who is a mechanic and teaches automotive tech/maintenance classes at MATC recommended me to Mex Muffler a year ago for a hole in our exhaust. Took my car in, got it diagnosed and fixed within the hour for a price so low I thought they were mistaken. Today we took it in because it was rattling like crazy and they discovered our heat shield was loose and tightened some screws and sent us on our way - no charge. They could've told me the whole exhaust needed replacing for all I knew. Will definitely be bringing it here when I do actually need a new exhaust!"

"Someone cut out and stole my catalytic converter from under my car. I called around to see about pricing and time I kept getting the runaround with other places. When I called here they where straightforward gave me a quote that sounded good said I can bring it in to look at and go from there. I took it in they looked at it brought me in told me what they needed to do and could have it done right then and there. It took less then 40 minutes and had me look at it to see what they did looked good as new. This was my first time going here and if I need anything done that I can not do my self I will be taking it here."
